Locals traveling Hwy. 331 from Rodney J. Evans Drive to just north of Florala should use caution when driving in the area beginning Monday.

ALDOT officials said that’s when an approximately 30-day project that includes widening, planning, resurfacing and traffic striping will begin.

The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph in the construction zone.

Delays are expected.

Wiregrass Construction company was awarded the project at a cost of $626,851.
