Residents urged to fill out DRIVE Alabama survey

The 2017 DRIVE Alabama campaign and local county commissions are urging citizens to complete a two-question survey ranking the three most critical road and/or bridge projects in their county. With increased discussions about federal and state initiatives to generate additional revenue for roads and bridges, county leaders say local input is especially critical.

“With ongoing federal and state discussions about additional road and bridge revenue, county leaders want to hear from local citizens about which infrastructure projects should be prioritized,” said Sonny Brasfield, the executive director of Association of County Commissions of Alabama.
Citizens can rank their county’s top three road and bridge problems in one-of-three ways:

  • Complete the survey at www.drivealabama.org/about/survey/
  • Email them to drivealabama@gmail.com (and include the county of residence)
  • Post them to the DRIVE Alabama Facebook page

DRIVE Alabama is a coalition led by county engineers.
