There were several strong performances on Friday night in games involving Covington County high schools, but the following players went above and beyond to help guide their teams to victory.

Florala’s win over McKenzie was sparked by Jacob Hammac.

Hammac went 27-for-39 for 367 yards and five touchdowns.

Wildcat receiver Caleb Wood hauled in nine of Hammac’s passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns.

Andalusia got a big win over Escambia County with sophomore Elijah McClain leading the charge.

McClain rushed 15 times for 99 yards and three touchdowns.

Opps pulled off a 30-19 homecoming win over Houston Academy on Friday night.

After missing the first three games due to an injury, Bobcat senior Tye Lindsey made his first start of the season on Friday night and caught six passes for 137 yards and a touchdown.

Lindsey also had 14 total tackles, recovered a fumble and converted three two-point conversions.
