Wedding: Rhudy and Sanders
Laura Baker Rhudy and Michael James Sanders of Sumter, S.C., both formerly of Andalusia, would like to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Sherry Odom Rhudy. The prospective groom is the son of William and the late Ann Sanders of Andalusia.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2008, in an outdoor ceremony at their South Carolina home. All friends and family are invited to attend. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
Wedding: Gammons and Stewart
The families of Terry Stewart and Brandi Gammons are pleased to announce the approaching marriage of their children.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Brenda Gammons and the late Odell Gammons of Esto, Fla., and the granddaughter of Frances and the late Ralph Adams of Esto, and the late William and Maude Gammons of East Prairie, Mo. She is a graduate of Poplar Springs High School in Graceville, Fla.
The prospective groom is the son of Larry and Betty Stewart of Andalusia and the grandson of William H. and the late LouElla Pate, and Madge and the late Jack Stewart, all of Andalusia. He is a graduate of Pleasant Home High.
The wedding event will take place on Sat., Oct. 4, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. at the couple’s church, Mt. Zion Independent Baptist Church in Esto.
All friends and relatives are invited to come celebrate the beginning of their new life together.
Wedding: Ballew and Butts
Terry and Hope Ballew of Red Level announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tara Brook Ballew, to Zackary Tyson Butts.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joyce Bates and the late Berry Bates of Red Level and Mary Ballew and the late Bobbie Ballew of Cleveland, Ala. She is a 2006 graduate of Camellia City Christian Academy.
The prospective groom is the son of John Butts of Andalusia and Kim Smith of Dothan. He is the grandson of Gerald and Linda Pittman of Valparaiso, Fla., and Faye Bass of Loango and John D. Butts of Red Level. He is a 2005 graduate of Andalusia High School and is currently attending Okaloosa- Walton College. He is employed with Jenkins Engineering Inc. as a computer-aided draftsman.
The wedding is set for Sat., Oct. 4, 2008, at 5 p.m. at Pigeon Creek Baptist Church. No invitations will be sent and all friends and family are invited to attend. A reception will follow the ceremony.
Wedding: Daughtry and Perry
Mr. and Mrs. Michael A. Daughtry of Andalusia proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kaci Leigh Daughtry, to Thaxton Mark Perry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milner M. Perry, of Florala.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reaford Daughtry of Andalusia and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Thrash of Opp. Miss Daughtry is a graduate of Straughn High School and a graduate of Troy University with a bachelor of science in business administration. Miss Daughty is currently the director of human resources at Andalusia Regional Hospital.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thaxton Wayne Houston of Troy and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Perry of Lockhart. Mr. Perry is a graduate of Florala High School and a junior at The Baptist College of Florida with a major in pastoral ministries. Mr. Perry is currently the associate pastor at Southside Baptist Church in Opp.
The wedding is planned for two o'clock in the afternoon, Oct. 25, 2008, at Harmony Baptist Church in Andalusia, with the reception to follow in the Christian Life Center. All friends and family are invited to attend.
