I would like to ask everyone to contact the Governor's office and strongly support Judge Lee Enzor to be appointed to the office to fulfill the current term. He is a wonderful man and an honorable man and will do a great job for the citizens of Cov. Co.

I agree that Lee will make a great Probate Judge and be fair to the public as that office is entitled to do. Sherrie was just let off on way too much in light of her attachment to the old Judge Enzor and was allowed to do things "her way" until it reached the point of "oops"...somebody goofed now didn't they! She should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and serve her time as she so graciously expects others who commit the same injustice as she did to do. Oh the "mug" shot.....come on, get real Sherrie! I also heard through the grapevine that she's practicing law in Geneva with David Harrison...any truth to that?

Sherrie is a great lady and a very honest lady. I thought in this country a person was innocent until proven guilty,is that not the case anymore?? Anyone that really knows Sherrie knows that she is a fun-loving person and that mug shot was just that fun,because she knew that the charges were not true.
I honestly believe in Sherrie's innocence because I have know this lady for around 20 years as a matter of fact I was at one time her sister-n-law. I have a 17 year old daughter that is Sherrie's niece and people should really think about what their're saying and who there're hurting before they open their mouths but there again some people just don't have the sense to keep their mouths shut and all their're doing is belittleing themselves.
Justice will prevail and Sherrie will be found innocent by the Grace of GOD..

It is very true that Sherri is working as a lawyer in geneva alabama with David Harrison. My guess is that she is swapping some work for David to be her criminal defense attorney. Rumor is she still has not paid Earl Johnson. There is alot of people that knew the real Sherri at the courthouse and how she was the high queen judge and dare anyone to question her or some of the off the wall decisions she made and the many jobs that have taken place in the probate office over the years like baby sitter and raising dogs. I want to know if the AG's office is also going to get the select 2 or 3 that are acting as administrators over the people that had a little money for the Probate Judges office wonder how much money, land, personal property, ect. they have stolen? Alot of people have the right idea............ Open all her cases for a minimum of the last 6 years and see how much money has been taken, we might just find there are several million dollars she or some of her family has gotten. I would be really interested in the family member that has the business that employs illegal immigrants.

It's a crying shame that some people are so bored with their own lives that they have to always stick their nose in someone elses business. I just pray to GOD ,which some of you certainly don't know ,that all this will soon be over for Sherrie and her entire family and their life can get back to normal and all the people can find someone else to talk about. i have personal experience with this lady as the conservator of a trust for my brother and believe me when he has to pay for a visit to his siters for food etc then in my eyes she is crooked as they come so unless you have personally been in her court and seen the number of families she has split up then you do not know her even if you are related i still hope she fries but being a lawyer she will walk free.

I think Sherrie let her position go to her head and believed that she was above the law. She said something very rude about a child to her parents. This was a very hurtful thing and no one should ever say terrible things about how a small child looks to their parents. This shows she has no compassion for anyone else's feelings. She should certainly have more respect for people and especially in her position. Sherrie's former sister-in-law stated in a post above, “people should really think about what they're saying and who they're hurting before they open their mouths but there again some people just don't have the sense to keep their mouths shut and all they're doing is belittling themselves" (I corrected the grammar). I think she should say this to Sherrie. With Sherrie's high and mighty attitude and lack of concern for other people I would not be surprised if she is found guilty. And the comment made previously about the courthouse being a place for baby-sitting her grandchildren is soooo true. Many years ago Sherrie was not like she is now. Unless you are one of her children or their families she could care less about you.

I think that all involved in receiving any money from her (if she is found guilty) should also be punished to the fullest extent of the law. I just hate it for the families that had money taken from them and this goes to show there is little faith in "higher authorities" that we are supposed to trust!!!

First of all, the mugshot was the best one ever! The last thing we all need to see is another mugshot of someone looking depressed and weepy. If someone is taking a picture of you and you know it is going to be shown everywhere, what would you have done? Yeah-that's what I thought. I must say that I am not one of her children, nor a member of any of their families; however, she has welcomed me with open arms and helping hands on a few occasions. Let us not judge someone so quickly--life is made up of many moments, many hours, and many days. It is simply not fair to judge someone based on a single experience. On a different note, so many posting these comments act as though every other lawyer, judge, county and city official is truthful and honest. Maybe they are....for a moment.Think about it. This is reality-welcome. Oh yeah- and Justice4All, that was sort of a low blow about the grammar check. Trishamcvay is obviously the underdog in this blog. Everyone could afford to cut her a little slack, she is seemingly emotional and hurt. Don't kick someone when they're down, or someone might judge your character instead of Sherrie's, which is being crucified by speculation, or so it seems.

This is so silly. You have no tape. (And you can't spell) If you had a tape you would have already tried your best to get some attorney in town to take your case so you could collect some money. It would have also been presented in court as evidence to what you are claiming. (It was not) You are slandering some good men's names but I do hope the other people that read this see that you are bitter from you, and your families, previous involvement with law enforcement.

These guys know about "ruff rides" dear. They take one each time they enter a door at a domestic disturbance and don't know what is going to happen on the other side. They take one every time they stop a car at midnight near Barnes Bridge with back-up sometimes thirty minutes away. It is a rough ride everyday when you kiss your kids and wife goodbye when you go on shift and think that this may be the last time they see you or you them. It is a rough ride. You take precautions and always remember the main thing - I am going home tonight.

You are bitter, I am sorry. But stop trashing good people and telling obvious lies. If you have a tape that shows any of these officers doing anything wrong or improper, take it to Tracy Hausey or Eddie Knight. I bet my dollar to your dime they will air it.

Don't lie about things that can be proven. I am not a family member, I am their friend. I have seen them work. I have seen all of them help people when they needed help. I have also seen them take people to jail because they broke the law. That is how our system works.

This is for you conin1. I know this is not about Sherrie Phillips but you stuck your nose in my business as well as your cop husband or family member you seem to be taking up for. There are no ruff rides here at my home cause my family are law abiding citizens My maiden stands on its on in my community. There was no reason for them to show up at my home, my castle the way they did. The truth is not slander. Shall I tell some of the truth I bet one of those cops knows what beer thirty is real well and knows which direction to take when it comes to not worrying about a dui. Then again he doesn't have to worry about it with his buds now does he.

First off Mr. Know it or Ms. Know it first hand jennygirl is not an idiot. It takes someone who was there to know something first hand. Were you there. So Im telling you I was. I also know of a friend of mine who was walking up that hall way when that gun was pointed straight at her and my son. After I told them that I had a young child there, and one of the officers knew I had a young child there. So he knew I was telling the truth before anyone of them pulled that gun.

I agree with you jennygirl. There was no tape or video basically the postmaster words against Matthew Leo Kelleys wife at the post office. No judge wanted to hear the real story of what really went on. But I can guarantee you Matthew you never said the word I will kill my mail man or murder him. He simply wanted to know why after 7 months he delivered the ssi check to the same adress with no problem and his stimulus check was also returned who wouldn't be upset espeacially when they live on a fixed income and there check gets returned. There are 3 mailboxes all together you can find any three of the recipients mail in any three of the boxes. So the Red Leve ost Office needs to get there business affairs in order. To this day the mail man still delivers mail to the address he so called the wrong address of Mr. Kelleys. So he just simply wanted to know why and how to correct the problem. So was the address really the problem?

Matthew Kelley is a great husband and a wonderful loving father. His family has went through tremendous hurt due to the unfairness of the law and the judicional system. My son will never forget watching his father having a gun to to the back of his head and knees in his back while his father lay sleeping. surrounding. It isn't right to judge a man with out hearing the whole story called the truth. Isn't it only right he had a right to express his freedom of speech. Gossip has hurt this family. It has caused great pain.

Matt plead guilty because he felt the system was unfair and sought to hang him no matter what. So he did what he felt was best. He plead to amendment 8 to protect people from unusal punishment.

Don't get us wrong now there are some law officials who are just that. They do help protect and serve but the crooked ones need to take a step down. Don't forget law officers are human to and can be just as criminal as citizens that badge doesn't make a dimes bit of difference. Just gives them a little power that should ensure justice.

Now, I don't know but isn't it a federal crime to threaten to KILL a postal worker/employee? Anyway, I think that Katina and Jeanette, if you really think you have a good case why don't you take it back to court? I mean if Matthew's freedom is worth what you all are saying and you were so mistreated by law enforcement sounds to me like you got it all on tape and got a great story to go with it, there should be great attorneys lining up to take this case. Why not go ask one to take it? You might get just enough money you all could move out of your trailers and away from all of these mean police in Covington County.

admin23,hey shaw girl,which of course is honey bun's wife,do you want to really know how your husband got that name?which of course i really don't belive you all would want any photo's of him at a place called the four son's across the net!but anytime you would like for us to keep acting like kids i will post them pic's were you and all your buddy's can see them the pic's is old but he was still in law the year was 1996,we can leave my family members out and i can leave yours out doesn't matter to me either way! but i belive it would not look so hot for pic's to hit across the net in his line of work! but now i,can be wrong and i, have been in the past! so i'v left this call up to you!

There is no way to respond to an idiot like yourself. I am unsure as to who you think I am but if you would both read back you have told who you are and who your brother was. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. Just reading comprehension, which by the way most of your writing looks, you lack a lot of education. i have to say i, have met,people,like conin1,and admin23,that was able to get me, to bend to there level ! which i, have to say was low! and very irresponsible in my behavior! so who might had read what i had wrote to these people,i'am sorry that i wrote it on sherrie phillips case! i should had never wrote them back instead i, have acted like a person without any education! by writting these people back,were conin1,and admin23,i know who you all are and this is not the place to handle it,but we will handle this in time maybe when the time is right jeff,you will have your wife with you and then we can laugh,and show pic's of you at the club,and with the moonshine! and your wife can tell us how her job is at shaw!
