Florala’s Zac Fleming led for his team Tuesday night with seven points.

New Brockton beats FHS

Published Thursday, December 3, 2009

Florala coach Brad Garner said his Wildcats did not play well Tuesday night as they fell to New Brockton, 55-26, but he hopes his team will learn from its mistakes.

“It was not a good showing,” Garner said. “We couldn’t muster any offense at all. We just got out of synch.”

The leading scorer for Florala was Zac Fleming with seven points.

Garner said the game Tuesday night proved to be a good “learning experience” for the team.

“They put a lot of pressure on us,” he said. “We’re going to take that and learn from it and hopefully it will make us better.”

Tonight, the Wildcats will be on the road in Opp.
