Everytime I open the paper and see that "once again" the unrecoginezed have defeated the presented...it makes an old 4th degree proud. Our small team has, over the years, acheived the best from the small town venues...we have one of the best 'leaders'/trainers/champions...and...we have students who believe...long ago, in the mid-70s, I studied under Sensei Lee here in Andy and we garnered many trophies in 1976,77,78...I was a French Savat, several were Takwondeo, most Yosheki...we had a good group...kudos to the Butler family and their co-hearts. Oh, by the way, Chuck Norris showed up at several of our bouts and invited us to shows...many years later my son, Zack Bryant, won his Black-belt and was delivered many invits to Chuck Norris' tournaments (we lived in FWB,FL), so we fully support our local group...note: Dr Butler, please don't break your hand, I may need you soon...
in case you wonder, I am a 60 yo Vet from the Army Special Forces, where I discovered the martial arts. Fighting comes easy.
