Volunteer firefighters work to put out the flames that eventually completely destroyed the Wiggins Farm Road home of Andy and Juanita Bleichroth.
A Carolina community home was completely destroyed by fire Friday morning.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the Wiggins Farm Road home of Andy and Juanita Bleichroth and their daughter Jerrica shortly after 8 a.m., only to find the home fully engulfed in flames.
At the time of their arrival it was unknown if anyone was at home when the blaze occurred; however, it was later determined that the husband and wife were out of town attending a funeral, and their 16-year-old daughter was at school.
Volunteer firefighters battled for nearly two hours to halt the blaze but were unsuccessful in saving the home.
Libertyville, Carolina and Red Oak volunteer fire departments, Advanced EMS and the Covington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the fire.
The cause of the fire or its point of origin is still under investigation.

Does anyone know this family or how I can get in touch with them? The LBWCC Campus Civitan would love to help in any way possible...we were considering taking donated clothes and goods to help the family.
