Reader wants conservative cartoons

Published Saturday, October 3, 2009

Dear Editor,

Well, folks, it seems as though the Andalusia-Star News still doesn’t understand that the majority of the people who read the Star-News do not agree with the Barack Hussein Obama agenda.

The last time I wrote to your newspaper, I complained about the liberal political cartoons in your paper every Wednesday. The cartoons that you continue to use in your paper do not represent the majority in Covington County.

I cannot understand what the Star-News cannot be more conservative in the cartoons it chooses to publish. Perhaps all newspapers are liberal like yours, as is the liberal news we watch on NBC, ABC and CBS. It seems the media is more interested in telling their side than telling the truth.

I don’t know why I am surprised about the Star-News doing this. I know people who call themselves Christians who helped put Obama in office. No, I will never understand.

Could you kindly use some political cartoons that are more conservative and represent the hearts of our good people? Some of us are considering not supporting the Star-News if this does not improve. Maybe this would be a good “poll” for you to ask in one of your papers.

Mr. Obama is now the President, elected by Bible - believing Christians too. Get over it. Most people I hope are too smart to fall for your "Hussein" tactic.

Maybe these Bible- believeing Christain's don't actually read the Holy Bible , but listens to someone who may read but don't understand it. Obama is not a Christain if he were he would have joined in the White House Prayer breakfast instead of attending Ramadon festivals. Barack (Berry )Hussain Obama is a "Muslim". Now, YOU get over it. Hes a loser, one timer and will be impeached.

Political Cartoons have the ability to reach both the literate as well as the illitrate.

starburst: There were many uninformed so called Christians who voted for Obama and many of these same people have no idea what the Bible says about anything other than what someone else told them. The words Christian and Obama should never be used in the same sentence. Obama said he was a Christian, but that he didn't believe Christ was the only way to get to heaven. That had to be about the most stupid, idiotic unchristian statement I had ever heard. Christ himself said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh to the Father except by me," so if you believe that a Christian can believe like Obama, then you totally deserve your Muslim president. Obama has lied about everything he said he wanted to do during his campaign and the advisors that he would surround himself with. I for one won't get over it and if you have children, they will spend the rest of their lives paying back the debt this idiot has forced upon us all. If the election was today, Obama would go down in flames just like he will burn on Judgement Day!

Larry, I don't understand why most news papers and media are liberal. It is so hard to find true journalism these days instead of people wanting to change the world and force their beliefs on everyone else. I just want the truth and I'm smart enough to make my decisions from the truth alone. The paper that runs the liberal cartoons are just like all other liberals and so out of touch with mainstream America. If it wasn't such a shame, it would be funny, but it just proves that conservatives are smarter and more concerned with truth than the editors and owners of the paper.

They really should do a Cartoon about Birtha Lewis and Obamas "Illegal Auntie"!!

winkie: I wouldn't hold my breath on the Bertha Lewis and Obama "Auntie" cartoon if you're expecting to see it in news print, but Saturday Night Live may do a skit. I saw where the had finally done a critical script on Obama, but it was true! If they aren't careful, he will take over the company so he can have their scripts written. It sure wouldn't be the first company he's taken over!!

You may be right but if the Fed's dig deep enough there WILL be an Impeachment. Believe you me!! Acorn made Obama and Acorn will break him and it will be by Obamas own hand. He taught them everything they know. Cartoon's: You don't see them like you use to but I'm hopeing there will be someone who has the "guts" to draw one about Obamas illegal Auntie and Acorn. "So Be It!"

winkie: I sure hope you are correct about both. We can only hope and pray!

I doubt that the anti Obama posters realize they are not all-wise and omnipotent. They are not the arbitrators of who is or is not a Christian or what it means to be a Christian. In these matters there is another "Decider". Their opinions are simply their opinions.
