Time for pumpkins
Church’s ‘Pumpkin Patch’ festival of fall spirit
Published Wednesday, October 7, 2009
St. Mary’s Episcopal Church will hold its annual Pumpkin Patch event this Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Organizer Kathy Kyzar said that in addition to being a great place to pick up a pumpkin, the event offers children’s games and a Moon Walk.
A number of vendors will offer arts and crafts inside the church hall, where there will also be a bake sale, and hamburgers, hot dogs and sausage dogs will be available.
Church members also are raffling paintings by two church members, Margo Russell and Jo Mosdell.
There is no charge for admission, and children’s games are priced at 25 cents to 50 cents. The church is located on East Three Notch Street.
