Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp and River Falls Police Departments

Wed., Oct. 21, 2009

• Nancy Helms, 34, for three counts of negotiating with a worthless instrument and held on a $9,000 bond.

• Leah C. Appleton, 31, for a grand jury indictment for possession/receiving controlled substances, first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on a $45,000 bond.

• Ralph Lee Aaron, 54, for first-degree sexual abuse and first-degree sodomy and held without bond.

• Rayburn Lee Mauldin, 32, for contempt and held without bond.

• Sara M. Perry, 27, for failure to appear and held without bond.

• Donell Lashon Ellison, 29, for failure to pay child support and held without bond.

• David Hutchinson, 48, for first-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of distribution of a controlled substance and possession of prohibited liquor and held on a $216,000 bond.
