Avery David "A.D." Whittington

Avery David “A.D.” Whittington, 5-year-old son of David and Angie Whittington, died Mon., Dec. 1, 2008, in Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 4, at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Wilkinson officiating and Keahey Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Keahey Funeral Home.
Survivors include his parents, David and Angie (Clark) Whittington of Andalusia; sisters, Colby and Saige Whittington of Andalusia; maternal grandparents, Jackie and Medford Haskew of Andalusia; maternal grandfather, Danny Clark of Centre, Ala.; paternal grandparents, Teddy and Betty Sue Hinton of Elberta, Ala.; maternal great grandmother, Ferrell Clark of Centre; maternal great-grandmother, Lois Epperson of Evergreen; and paternal great-grandmother, Mary Tom Hartzog of Talladega.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lucas Blaine Whittington in 1998; maternal great-grandfather, A.D. Clark Sr.; and paternal great-grandfather, Billy James Hartzog Sr.
