Pauline Bess, Andalusia

Mrs. Pauline Bess, 85, of Andalusia, died Sun., Feb. 15, 2009, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., today at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at Keahey Funeral Home.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Roland Carter of Hendersonville, N.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Lewis (Madge) Sowell of Andalusia and Chapman (Kay Nell) Sowell of Phoenix City; grandchildren, Angela Wright and Bobby Wade Carter, both of Hendersonville; and great-grandchildren, Corey Wright and Jared Wright.
Pallbearers will include Dick Garner, Larry Sowell, Ricky Sowell, David Sowell, John Weaver and Tommy Thomas.
Mrs. Bess was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Bess, in 2005.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to West Highland Baptist Church.
