Jack Stokes
Mr. Jack Stokes, 78, of Andalusia, died Fri., May 15, 2009, in an Opp hospital.
Funeral services will be held today, Sat., May 16, at 11am from the Cedar Grove Church of Christ. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Minister David Paher will officiate.
Mr. Stokes is survived by two children, Mike Stokes of Andalusia and LaDonna Norman and husband Joe of Foley; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Billy Stokes and a sister, Mildred Stokes, both of Andalusia.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Cobb, Hal Stokes, Joe Norman, Jason Clark, Robbie Wise and Mike Pate.
The body will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

so sorry to hear about your dads passing;he had such a wonderful personality;and we often talked about my dad and the old times.i know he will be greatly missed

Dear Mildred
I read about Jack's passing this last week and wanted to let you know we are thinking about you .... and him. He meant so much to Granny (Myrtle). She always had news of you both when I visited or wrote to her. She would laugh when she spoke of Jack and she shared her encounters and how they poked fun at each other. It meant alot to my family to know that you and he were there to brighten her life..especillaly in her last days. I think of you both when I think of her.
