My family of three pays over $6000 a year for insurance (and that does not include the portion covered by my husbands employer) and I have to fight with our company over almost every doctor visit. In 2008 we paid $13,000 dollars in medical bills, out of pocket (she was not hospitalized) because we were denied by our insurance. My husband has been offered better jobs but he can not change because my daughter has a chronic condition and we will not be approved for insurance. This healthcare will help my family and I am thankful for this bill!

As a person who works with youth that are considered "at risk", I can assure you that President Obama has done much to inspire the children I work with. I can also tell you that after his speech in January I increased my volunteer hours and many of the charities and organizations I work with had a waiting list for people who wanted to help. I think that these tiny things add up to a more peaceful world. So Mr. Schuver, I respectfully disagree with you.

My husband has a wonderful job and we have what is considered by many as excellent healthcare. Unfortunately, my daughter was diagnosed with a chronic illness and then I realized how lacking our insurance was.
I have had over 87 hearings before our insurance board pleading with them to allow my daughter to visit certain doctors (board certified). More often than not my insurance company has made decisions overruling our personal physician on how to treat my little girl. Insurance companies already use healthcare boards, so I am not sure why it warrants a bullet point in Mr. Hinson's letter. I believe America is the greatest country in the world and I am CERTAIN we can figure out a system that would allow every person affordable healthcare.
