It isnt just with this that things like this are happening!!
This just shows you how people have been "handed"things out to them for so long that they dont know how to work to get it for them selves! They expect a hand out for every thing.
BUT LET ME SAY THIS THOUGH!! This is for the kids, not the parents!! Dont make these kids pay for what their parents dont care enough to do for them. Also NOT ALL PARENTS TAKE ADVANTAGE of this!! They are were they really need this, and it is the others that make it where they cant!! Think about when you walk up to that line and put your name in if you deserve it or not! Do you honestly deserve it?
These kids cant help the positions that they are placed in, so dont make them suffer at Christmas!

I am glad that this is done, but what is so sad is that the ones that abuse this! Some of the parents that go and sign up, know that they are better off than some of the ones that dont get to sign up, and use this for there benefit.
Dont abuse something good like this! You better be thankful for what you do have,

Gee People!! Dont go blamming the local officials for any of this.. in time we will find out if someone came forward since 2005 and filed a complaint, it will all come out when the case goes to court!
Why blame these people? blame this sicko! he is the one that did it, it is all his fault! NO PLEA BARGINS FOR HIM, NONE!! The only thing that I can say about the officials is, dont take a trade off for a lesser sentence!! Dont make a deal with him, stick it to him!! No insanity pleas.... most of the ones that do crimes, use the insanity plea, when they knew good and well what they did!! Make this SOB suffer as those kids did, why candy coat it for him!! I hope he finds a good room mate, Maybe "Bubba" will teach him a lesson!!

Amen gwill5413!! They had to have a new square ( where you can only enjoy it during the day, cause if you are out there at night they will run you off) to make the "city" look better.... A NEW SQUARE AINT GONNA HELP OUT THAT MUCH PEOPLE!
when it use to be like it was, there was plenty of parking and you didnt have to feel like you were gonna be run over trying to get out from in front of the court house!! You take your life into your own hands if you park there sometimes!!! Now they want to have special parking for the employess only, hey that is good, but what about the tax payers, dont we deserve somewhere to park? and what is it with the "parking enforcer" that comes around and gives you a ticket for being parked in a parking place for over 20 mins? have you ever got into the courthouse and back out in less than 20 mins? Not me.
They should have thought about whether they wanted good looks, or parking when they re-did the square.

infu4u, I totally agree with you!! Why should she still receive any benefits from the job that she had when she stole this money? Why should she get the benefits that a honest person would get? I dont believe at all that she should get any of it!! NONE AT ALL!!!
Let her live like the rest of us have to!! Let her learn a lesson, dont just pat her on the back! Show her what happens when you are guilty of stealing something that wasnt hers in the first place!!
Put her on the side of the road picking up trash like the rest of the inmates have to do, dont give her any special treatment!! She never treated any of us special!! I did find out last week that when she was in office that she told the clerks that they could not ask if a person had insurance or not on their vehicle when they got a tag. I got this straight from several of them that work there now!! So this is why there are so many that are out there driving around with no insurance, but have a current tag!
She them not to ask because it wasnt their job to keep up with that part of the system.

There are no words that can describe what this family is going thru at this time, but the respect and honor of us, the public can show them that we appreciate their son, and all the others out there that serve for us!
God Bless this family, and monica, I know you may not remember me by name, but my heart goes out to you my long time friend!

What would make someone make such a comment to someone that just lost everything that had? Are you that inhumane? do you feel like your comment was funny or something? IF So I hate to tell you you aint funny!!
Watch what you say about others...... you never know when it is going to be you on the receiving end of something such as this. Then what would you say if someone said such to you? you probably would scream slander, show your butt, no telling what else, but then you have the gall to sit here and say this about these people? YOU ARE PITTYFUL!!
