So its the Citizens of Covington County's fault that the horse barn is a flop?

I AGREE THAT WE NEED TO LOOK CLOSELY AT WHERE WE ARE SPENDING OUR MONEY,AND I BELIEVE WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO "THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX" ON WAYS TO GENERATE REVENUE. ONE OF THE DEPARTMENTS THAT I KNOW CAN'T TAKE CUTS IS THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE. THEY ARE ALREADY UNDER STAFFED,AND THE LOWEST PAID IN THE COUNTY. THE DEPUTIES TAKE THEIR JOBS KNOWING THEY ARE NOT GONNA GET RICH,BUT IT WOULD BE ENCOURAGING TO KNOW THAT THE ELECTED OFFICIALS AND THE CITIZENS OF COVINGTON COUNTY WANTED THEM TO HAVE THE EQUIPMENT THEY NEED TO PROTECT THOSE WHO ARE BEING THREATENED WITH DEADLY FORCE,AND TO PROTECT THEMSELVES. ACCORDING TO AN FBI REPORT,86% OF OFFICERS KILLED AT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SCENES ARE KILLED WITHIN THE FIRST MINUTE! OUR DEPUTIES RUN AS FAST AS THEY CAN TO A SCENE WHERE A PERSON HAS SAID ON THE PHONE,"THERE'S GONNA BE A SHOOTOUT WHEN YOU GET HERE". THINK ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING TO CUT EXPENSES!!!

THIS IS THE MOST ENCOURAGING STORY I HAVE READ IN A LONG TIME! FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS HELPING A FAMILY IN NEED. IT SEEMS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH MONEY ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH SAVING THE WHALES,THE SPOTTED OWL,ALBINO RATS THAN HELPING STRUGGLING FAMILIES. I DON'T HAVE MUCH MONEY,BUT I KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP! I PRAY THAT GOD WILL BLESS KEITH AND HIS FAMILY,AND EVERYONE HELPING HIM.

IT APPEARS THAT BOTH "POLITICIANS" RUNNING FOR THE CHAIRMAN'S OFFICE IS GONNA RIDE THE FENCE CONCERNING THE UNIT SYSTEM. WHAT WE NEED IS A "LEADER"WHO'S GOT THE GUTS TO MAKE THE HARD DECISIONS TO CHANGE THINGS AND NOT KEEP DOING THINGS LIKE WE'VE BEEN DOING AND EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS!
