Why is it that most everyone looks for the first opportunity to tear someone down? Has everyone forgotten the 5th and 6th Amendments?!
Quick U.S. History Lesson:
The Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution reads, in part, "No person shall be ... deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. Translation: constitutionally you cannot be executed, imprisoned, or fined without the proper course of justice taking place. As you found out, due process, itself, is not defined in the constitution, but is universally recognized as meaning what we term as "a fair trial."
The Sixth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution reads, "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district where in the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense."
To the best of my knowledge the Colquetts have not had a trial yet nor have they had the opportunity to make their side of the story known. Unless you have PERSONALLY seen any of the documents in question (not heard about from your sister's husband's cousin's friend), sit back and wait for the speedy, fair trial as guaranteed by our constitution.

WHOA and the WHTA have elected to dissolve the NHSC, postponing the Trainers Show and several March shows. It's getting harder and harder to show a TWH now. :(

188822, I'm glad that you had a good experience there, but I can list a dozen people that I know who had crappy dealings there and would never step foot back on their lot. The sad part is that Mr. Langley (GM) is as nice as he can be. It's his staff that screw people over...especially the bozo running the service department.

He's nothing but a good ol' boy trying to save the world with his badge.
Andyman, I think you're right on the money! :)

I'll never do business with Massey Automotive again. The service manager was extremely disrespectful and wouldn't answer any of my questions until I brought my husband up there. I was quote one price over the phone, but was charged almost $100 more! When I brought it up to the service manager he said that I must have misunderstood him. BS!

I have been in the Walmart parking lot when these idiots come driving through with their music loud enough that it hurts my ears. It never even phases them that there are children in the parking lot who are hearing their obscene lyrics, either. On one particular occasion there was an APD car parked on the sidewalk in front of the store. The APD needs to step up and break out the pens! Fine the idiots or fire the lazy officers. Take your pick!

If the arena is closed the taxpayers will just be paying for dust and cobwebs. What's done is done...time to move on and try to fix the problem.
Tony Well's rear end needs to get the boot and put someone else in control who knows how to book events, keep a good public image, and make the arena TURN A PROFIT!

If the Covington Arena is going to stay open it needs someone in there who can promote it, not sit on their backside and collect a county paycheck. The idea of Mr. Wells being offered the appraiser position is ludicrous! Is he even qualified?
I completely agree with d_scarbrough and Mel. There are county trucks EVERYWHERE. I've seen a county truck all the way up in Montgomery on numerous occasions. I can't count the number of times I've seen children riding in county trucks. Are they on county payroll, too?!?

Susan Carpenter is the most qualified person on that list. If Tony Wells gets the job it will be a friggin' joke!
