I never see them patrolling anyway. Ride through town and you see 3-4 Patrol cars all bunched up shooting the breeze. Usually some Cop groupies in the mix too.

Is it Whiskey or is it Wine or is it lack of PT time?

God help us if a donut shop opens in town.

If that is also Gerald Chesteen's Grandaughter, I hope one day she knows how great a Man Gerald was. I am proud to have known him and his family.

His sons have big shoes to fill and there will never be another like him. Rest in peace my friend.

My point was that they are trying to get money from somewhere right now to pay for stuff right now. A Ball Field is not a certainty. It is a gamble that might payoff in the future. All this "For the Children" stuff is an emotional response that should not be in the equation when business is being decided on.

If they raise taxes and/or fees now, do not expect them to go back down.

People are not spending money. When that happens, the right thing to do is trim the fat under a shortfall situation. Some may lose their jobs. Sorry.

If someone is making 6 figures to "Manage" an empty facility, this should be given as an example in every meeting where raising taxes is dicussed.

How about just stop blowing all the money and start trimming some fat off the budget. Last thing we need is another ball field in this weak economy.

Try not buying new vehicles every year. Mine is 11 years old and still runs great.

This case is just the one known. If I was the investigator(hint..hint) I would look into:
The Bridge Club Phillips attended and interview all regulars.
Look into all cases involving out of town relatives.
Interrogate all conservators and administrators of estates that Philips appointed.

If a conviction cannot be obtained in this trial, all prosecutors need to resign their posts and the AG needs to hand in his papers.

This case is just the tip of the iceberg.

On Phillips’ trial to begin here Monday
