First off, I officiate. There are no such things as "state officials" that work on the field. State officials are observers that grade the crew on how well they call. The state sends district directors a list of say 6 games and then the district director assigns them to an association. The association then decides who to send to what games they are given.

LOL, the nerve of the NCAA actually prosecuting ua. I was for sure they were above "the law." Everyone is just trying to pull 'em down! How much tradition does it take for the NCAA to just let 'em do what they want?

I have a question for all the people saying whites are rascist because they dont agree with obama. How is it not rascist to vote for someone because they are black, and to say this didnt happen is truly ignorant. Blacks voted 95% for obama. Also, how can a christian vote for obama? I have a book called the Bible that says marriage is between a man and a woman (obama is pro-gay rights). The Bible also says Thou shall not kill (obama is pro-choice).

Blondie, I have worked there. I have family members and friends that work there. No disrespect meant, but I dont think that you understand that Shaw is a business and they have to make a profit while looking at long term benefits for the company. The management at Shaw is not bored and thinking of ways to treat employees unfairly. Shaw merely has to react to the economy much the way other companies have to do. When I worked there (2006-2008), they were making cuts and the sentiment areound the plant was "well, atleast I have a job."

Blondie and andalusiaadvocate, had you rather Shaw Industries completly pull out of our city or make nessecary economical desicions for the long run of staying in Andalusia? If you think Shaw cutting back hours is bad then try to imagine the non existence of Shaw in Andalusia. Sometimes, you need to realize how bad it could be instead of how bad it is.

Your attempt to spell and how ironic it is that you don't recall bammer fans ever booing or throwing trash on the field (memory refresher- 2007 versus UGA) is hilarious. Oh, and do you want me to mention the numerous times bammers have booed their QB off the field? Ask JPW about the bammer fans. I'm sure he would have loved a letter before a game.
