I have always supported the fair because it's a community event, however, over the past few years, I wouldn't waste my money there! The prices have gone out the roof for what is there! The carnival rides are too expensive. I wish it was affordable so all families could go and enjoy the evening in Andalusia. The livestock and contest entries are always awsome, but too expensive to take the family, sad.

I'm NOT for another tax for education because if the money in the budget used for education was used PROPERLY, there would be plenty of money! The money goes to fund raises for the board members and office execs in Montgomery, not to the teachers and classrooms. Look at the salaries going to Montgomery! Then you tell me if you want to give them another raise. If the money was going into our local schools and classrooms, I'd feel differently, but don't be fooled! The money is going to over paid, under deserving 'professional education execs' who waste our educational dollars on themselves. Check it out for yourself!

On Should the Coivngton County Commission pass a new sales tax for education?

Halloween is a celebration of the dead and is what it is.
There are people who take it to an extreme and use it to highlight demonic behaviors. This is not 'normal'.
Halloween is a fun time and should be celebrated as such with teaching our children its place in society. It is not satanic nor non-Christian.

On Do you believe Christians should celebrate Halloween?

I have always said that there are so many people out there that 'hide behind religion' in order to take advantage of people in the 'Bible Belt'. We are all so gullible to people who claim religion. Look at politicians. How many crooks and thieves have we elected to office that are nothing more than criminals themselves! Everyone should be cautious with who they trust. Don't let someone claiming to be religious fool you. Children are the most at risk because parents trust the wrong people in their care.
BEWARE - THESE PEOPLE DO LIVE AMONG US!

I only attended one and that was a disaster. (Class of '82)
The ones in charge of everything took our money for a memory book and other stuff and never delivered. They allowed alcohol and boy did things get out of hand quick. It was bad. The "look at me better than you crowd" gave recognition to their circle and omitted accomplishments of many others who were there. What a disaster. I've never been to another one. Maybe when everyone grows up in a couple more decades, maybe it will be a nice reunion, but as for now, I don't care to go to another one.

On Have you ever attended a class reunion?

My sweetest thought of Sherrie in jail is 'maybe she'll be someone else's girlfriend now'! That's a sweet picture. She may not be so tough in there, even if she only serves a short period of time. It's still not fair for her to still have stolen wealth when she does get out though. There should be multiple investigations, because I can promise you that there are other victims of her theft.
Happy Halloween Sherrie!
I think you should choose, vertical stripes-horizontal makes you look 'fat' and orange just makes you look funny.

With all the money she's stolen and stashed away all these years, I wouldn't be surprised if she skipped out and left the country. It's a shame she doesn't have to repay ALL the money she's stolen. If she does make it to prison, she's still living on stolen funds! Has justice really been served?

But I am glad to see that her appeals have failed!

Unless your own your own property or know a farmer out there, you're probably out of luck. I've had bunches of people call me every year wanting to hunt my property because clubs are dominating the area and private people are keepping the hunting for their families. It's pretty hard right now to find such a place. As for me, I cannot afford to allow people in to hunt my land because of irresponsible hunters and those who will not follow the rules. Shame a few ignorant ones ruin it for many. Good Luck!

I wouldn't go to see Obama if he was just outside my window. He's been a pitiful excuse for a president our country has ever known, but you poor souls who "believed" Obama was going to save you, what do you think now? I laughed myself silly during elections when ignorant people stated "obama's gonna pay for my house, my power bills, my everything...." HAHAHA!
Who wants to even watse time talking about him anyway.....enough.

On Would you go see President Obama, if given the chance?

I agree with not allowing people to discharge firearms within the city limits. I guess I really didn't know people WERE allowed to. It is dangerous and I'm glad now it is against the law. These pests should be trapped not shot within the city limits anyhow.

On Andalusia residents can’t shoot pests
