I have to agree with the last comment! I think Glen Zorn was a fine mayor, had it not been for him we would have not gotten the Nursing home! He did alot for our town and your negative remarks are completely uncalled for!

I also have complete faith in Sonny, but could you imagine having to come into the mess that he has come into? Florala's PD has been the subject of too much drama for quite some time and I think we now have the right person to clean this department up. I personally, am tired of all the narcs getting away with too much and I hope that it ceases very soon. I wished Sonny had a whole new crew to start out with that is not from here and did not previously work in this department. One can only wish that Sonny will get tired of them and their true colors will show. Good luck Sonny and we are looking forward to some much neeed change.

YES!!!!! I am so proud that our Mayor and Council made a wise decision and now my faith has been restored in the government of Florala! Good Luck Sonny, and I am looking forward to seeing you show people what a great job I know you will do!

I personally hope the choice is Sonny Bedsole. There has been enough of letting known drug dealers go if they narc on the big ones. All they have to do if they are caught committing a crime, is narc on someone and they continue to get away with the crime that they committed. We need someone who doesn't show favortism and the "good ole boy" attitude has got to cease! Our town here needs the right leadership and expierence and that person is Sonny Bedsole!!!!!!

I agree that Sonny is the best choice and I plan to be there to let my opinion count. I think if enough people would support Sonny and go to this meeting, maybe for the first time in a LONG time, they we will be heard. We need a change and I think Sonny is the man for the job. I have known him for years and he does not show favortism. He hates drugs, violence and people who continue to break the law!!! I hope the council and mayor realize what an assest Sonny will be to our town. It is time we had some order and calmness instead of fussing and arguing like children. I havefaith that the new council will take Florala to another level, instead of reading in the papers about nonsense that goes on at council meetings. I think we have a wonderful town full of generous people who work hard like me and just want our children to be able to go to college and come back and raise their children here. THERE is so much potential in this town to grow, we just need the right administration. We need jobs, we need to support our leaders and businesses. I personally think we have some of the best schools around and you know our future starts with our children. The past is the past and the people who use to run this town, don't anymore, and that should never be allowed to happen again! We really need a new paved road that goes all around the lake, that road is awful and that lake attracts a lot of revenue to this town!

If and when she goes to jail I am sure it will be a federal prision with internet, cable, a/c and other accomodations to good for her. I will continue to see if she ever makes to prision. I wish she had the common decency to at least show some remorse for what she did. The only thing I think she regrets is that she got CAUGHT!!!!!

Who said I agreed with Bush? He didn't cause 9/11, the terroists did! I don't have to agree with you because just like you I can voice my opinion and you don't have to like it, and my minister didn't tell me anything. I know how to be saved from sins. I don't bash you, but you bash "people like me". Believe it or not people like me even have a TV and I do watch and read and I am still entilted to feel the way I do. Like I said time will tell and we will see. I do hope he does something positive for this country but I guess we just have to wait and see what happens, so get off my case and get on someone else's!!!!!!

If one of my family members did this, I would not defend them! I would pray for them and hope they repent to God but I still think they should have to pay for crime, family or not! Yes, as Christians we are to forgive and pray for that person and love her in a CHRISTIAN WAY! She is still a convicted criminal just like any other criminal in the system. One sin is just as bad as another. You still must pay for what you did. That is what most everyone on here is trying to point out, some people just don't want to accept that she is a CONVICTED CRIMINAL!!!!

AND ANOTHER THING,,, she can be forgiven by God! She still has to pay for she did and she knows it. If I did a crime and was sentenced I would pray for forgiveness from God but I would still have to do the time. ( unless I got Judge Price)........... he may just slap me on the wrist!!!

Well as parent of girl softball players my question is.......ARE WE GOING TO EVER BE ABLE TO WATCH OUR GIRLS UNDER LIGHTS? I don't understand why our hardworking girls have never had the pleasure of seeing their parents ( who work until 5 or later) actually be able to see the whole game without having to call the game because it is dark!!!!!!! Our girls work hard and they deserve just as much as the boys!!!!! I admit we have come a long way and the field looks so much better than it did 5 years ago, but we still have a ways to go. Is there not any grants that can help our girls get what they deserve? There would be more revenue coming in if parents that work would be able to see their children play!!! Please if anyone can help us with any grants or lead us in the right direction, it would be gladly appreciated. Good luck to the girls and the new coach! Looking forward to seeing what happens. We do have some talent and we need support and willingness to stand behind our girls!!!!
