At least someone on here has some common sense and knows how to LOOK FACT and LAWS up before posting dumba** comments. That is exactly how the LAW is suppose to be enforced. No pill bottle, no prescription.....no free ride home. Covington County Jail here we come. I would think that if you read the article that maybe where it says DTF LT. Paul Hudson.......DTF stands for "DRUG" TASK FORCE. Also look at the rank...I'm pretty sure this man knows what he's looking for and its not his first rodeo. This man is a smart, intelligant and knows what hell he's doing. To all of you who comments about how LEO's arrest people and say its bullcrap or thats just not right.....read the LAW, look around and see the people WE have to deal with.......Covington County has A LOT of drugs in it. LEO's are doing their Best to CLEAN it up for our children. IF you didn't break the LAW then you WOULDN'T be behind bars.

for all of you who think that a water cannon is something that is used to spray people with water.........your wrong!!! its something that is used to explode bombs.....you'll be surprised of how many people in covington county like to make bombs or find old dynamite in a field.....thats when its used..... at least someone on here ( covingtoncountycitizen2008) has a positive feedback on the new police school......

************* To All the people who think the POLICE just want to run the teenagers off from hanging out or the ABC busting these parties...........lets look at some things like here in Andalusia...........people complain about the teens spinning their tires and their LOUD MUSIC blarring at all times of the NIGHT. Oh how about the business owners complaining about the trash in the parking lot ( go to the Farmers Market this weekend and see what I'm talking about.)......about the ABC and LT. Price, lets talk about them, have you ever wonder maybe there trying to KEEP YOUR KIDS ALIVE!!!!!!!!! Yes, WE POLICE arrest people who drink because WE don't want to pull up on a wreck call and see bodies all on the ground with beer bottles around them. 98 % of the police in this county have seen DEAD TEENAGERS in car wrecks and so WE TRY OUR BEST TO KEEP EVERYBODY SAFE AND ALIVE. You hate certain officers that work at APD because he writes so many tickets and arrests people for DUI, well just think the next time you talk about this CERTAIN officer or officers.....we just may have just saved your life or somebody in your familes life because some idiot was wanting to get to wal-mart in 5 minutes from across town.............

THE REAL AND HONEST REASON WHY A.P.D. DOES NOT WRITE THESE NOISE TICKETS IS BECAUSE OF ALL THE PAPERWORK THAT GOES ALONG WITH THE TICKET.....ITS A HEAD-ACHE I IMAGINE..........JUST THINK ABOUT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS....BOOM, BOOM, BOOM....ALL NIGHT LONG....THERE'S SOME OFFICERS WHO TRY AND STOP THIS NON-SENSE BUT WHEN THEY ARE ON THEIR TRAFFIC STOP SOME OTHER IDIOT COMES BY WITH THEIR BOOM BOOM ON JUST AS LOUD.

ITS HARD TO STOP THE BOOMERS IN TOWN BECAUSE WHEN THE COMPLAINTANTS CALL OF THEIR LOCATION.....BY THE TIME THE OFFICER GETS THERE THE BOOMERS ARE LONG GONE.......GIVE THE DISPATCHER A VERY GOOD DISCRIPTION OF THE VEHICLE AND THE DIRECTION THEY ARE GOING.......THAT HELPS A LOT!!!.........TRUST ME I KNOW
