I want to let the family know my prayers are with them at this time. I remember that smile of Skeeter's, he was always happy. His brother would bring him to a business my late husband and I owned - I will always remember how happy Skeeter was during those visits. He would go up to his brother now and then ,pat his shoulder, look his brother in the face and smile... His brother would then pat Skeeter's shoulder and say,"you are having fun aren't you buddy "--Skeeter would give even a bigger smile and say "YEAH". Skeeter was loved by all who had the chance to meet him.May God ease your pain dear family. Pat Henley

When I saw this clip about "Bubba" ,Hamish & Andy- I laughed so hard I ALMOST CRIED. I watched it 3 times ,and laughed at "Bubba's" expressions and comments each time as if it was the first time seen. I do agree , "Bubba" and Robin Williams would make a perfect pair in a comedy movie--- I would pay to see that one. Hope a copy of this clip can land in the right hands, maybe one day we will see them . Jackie Gleason was not any more funny than our own "Bubba". ---- No, I don't know officer Bailey personally.

Anyone know if the Florida school system begs for supplies from the parents, gets on tv asking for computers to be donated, raise taxes in an area ,or if their teachers have to put out their own money to see their classroom has what is needed for the kids ?

Today (to night at mid-night)is when Sherrie is suppose to check in lock up... I was sort of suprised when I read she would be with the others-- because there was "no where else" to put her---- .WHY would she need to be placed in another part of the jail? ?????

On Phillips could stay in county jail

Congratulations,Crissie I am proud of your hard work being recognized in such a grand scale. It was not by chance, it was the hard work , and your strive for perfection in taste of your products that got you to this point. I also know God is the first to get credit for your success.Because of small business owners like yourself, Andalusia will be known as a small southern town with much charm in baking. Again, congratulations, and thank you ,for your, and your staff's dedication.Have a blest day.

I seem to remember that Judge Charles Price taught Sherrie when she was a student at Jones Law School ,and in the 11-12-08 coverage of the case he was quoted as saying, " The problem with this case is greed" It would be a shame on his judgement to allow Sherrie to be released one minute early.( my opinion is she should have to be in the full six years, and be taken from the courtroom in cuffs when sentenced--) that is what would happen to you, or me for much less of a crime.) We all have let our opinions be known of how we feel about what she did,and I hope she has read each comment.

It is good to hear positive comments about our young folks, AND our law officers. Yes, we are proud of the young folks taking a stand to protect themselves by reporting these drug dealers! I also know the young folks need an area they can "gather" in safty, this is a problem that started years ago... With all the improvements seen in our city, I put faith in those who have the influence over such- to start drawing up plans for this safe place , that is protected with a couple of security officers roaming the site--inside and outside . I agree with a comment made earlier, the old Food World building is large enough for an arcade, snack bar, bumper cars, skating rink, and maybe a section for younger kids( 10 and under). With investers and grants , a dream such as this I have spoken of - might be a solution to our young folks not having a place of "their on ".... Just my thoughts, I know there are others with ideas.. If you have a teenager in your house, hug them, tell them you love them and you are proud of them for being responsible . Encourage them to talk with their friends, giving them encouragement for this year to be the one where they "Say No To Drugs"... Have a Blest Day

Has anyone heard if Sherrie's last appeal has been heard, or denied to be heard ? Seems like a decision should be made , and sentencing announced soon.
