I wish David the best of luck..He has proven to be a businessman of high standards, and I do have faith in him to do the best that can be done for the people of Alabama.
He has been a big part of Andalusia, meeting and talking with many, many people-- I feel he knows very well how we need to be represented , and will do what is in his scope if elected to help us with improvements of our city. P.S. No one knew how Obama would do in office. ( NO- I did not vote for Obama.)--Good Luck David.

I want to tell the family I am so sorry for the passing of their love one. He was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was the happinest when he was doing something for someone else. He was a true friend to my late husband ,Clyde. He would spend time with Clyde and make his last months more bearable because he could talk with uncle "Bo"-- yes, this fine man was married to my aunt Mattie. He was a bright , loving part of her life . His smile, and soft tone voice will never be forgotten . God bless each member of the family.

First, I want to tell Dr. Davidson how sorry I am to read about his illness. Then ,I want to wish him success in treatments with as little side effects as possible. Enjoy your retirement with those you love ,and know all of your patients are indeed going to miss your kindness. When I turned that big "4-0 ", a few months later he fitted me with my first set of glasses. Good luck Dr.

My heart goes out to ANY person in great need, but like "dixiemomma" and "winkie"- I like to give my donation to the local needs...When you think of the help we can be to one of our own locally--it makes you feel good to give this family hope.It would be so good if each of us would pick a family in crisis each month -donate to their cause.

I recently heard " Third Voice ", this is the best message a female can get concerning the life of her unborn baby. I congraulate the singing group for this song , and I can't think of a more gentle voice to sing it than that of Casey. I wish the blessings to continue to come this groups way. They work for the Lord, and their love for God and this ministry is easily seen , and heard in their actions.

I pray for you , and the others who have suffered a loss of a dear child, grandchild. I have learned through some bad times of my on - that God is with us "on the mountains AND in the valleys" of our lives. May He bring you comfort during the days ahead. So sorry .

As a nurse , I worked under Mrs. Beasley and found her to be a caring, professional lady. She was always approachable , and was eager to help in any way that was an improvement for patient care. She would be happy her family is setting up this scholarship in her name to help futute nurses .

Well,well,well-- What a let down for all of us who were in hopes of justice being done for a woman guilty of her crimes.. Nothing could make me happier about her situation than see her on the news sitting in the crowd of other inmates ,sewing machine humming away like the others that have been sentenced ( for less offences most likely)- and have to sleep, shower, dress, and eat with the inmates. She most likely did not even sit down at Tutwiler, they may have had " Lady Sherries " papers ready for the ride on to Birmimingham upon her arrival .... Nothing we can do to change her where- abouts, or the royal treatment she receives---just give our opinions. Maybe she will read each comment , and know she will not have a "Welcome back to Andalusia " parade when her short sentence is up.Its a shame the Piper family can't be there at the time of her release , and stand firm on the sentence being fully honored, NO early release. I am goimg to try not let this failure of the system get to me anymore, but for once more I wanted to share my disappointment. Some people get the max in sentencing , while others get that "slap on the wrist"-UNFAIR for so many.

Personally, I hope Sherrie Phillips never returns to Andalusia. I know I would think of what she got away with - with only a slap on the wrist everytime I saw her. She should be charged with all the other wrongs as well, and time added to her sentence. She SHOULD be IN prison where we would be if we had done such crimes. She used her position to learn how to steal, and actually get away with it.... One day she will face God to answer for all of this.... I sure would not want to be standing in her shoes then.I would not trust her in my house if she had an apron on , and a mop in her hand.... these are just my thoughts on her.
