Hammer do you live under the law or grace? it also says in the Bible those who live under the law have fallen from grace. Again just food for thought. it is funny how some people want to live under the law untill it is time for their judgment. the new law was ushered in with Christ sacrafice for our sins. so we were all set free for the penalty of the old law. So now I ask the question do you meet the requirements needed to take another persons life, which are; are you without sin? and by the way I do pay my fair share of taxes for there needs also.

Sammy, Diane, and Helen I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your mom she was a very special person, who had a great influence on me growing up. She was a great friend to my mother, and was always there to help in any time of need. I know her and my mom are having a great time right now catching up on the news. I would have been there if I could have, But I have moved to Kingsport Tn, again I am really sorry for your loss.

Christ said ye without sin cast the first stone. The woman was clearly guilty under the law and the punishment was death. But did Christ agree with taking a life, no he said ye without sin, I don't believe anyone of us can bost we have the right to pass a snetance of death on anyone since we have all sined and have falling short of the glory of GOD. Just food for thought for all you people who are so eager to put these people to death. I am not saying they should be set free but what is worse death or living in a 6x6 cell the rest of your life being told when to do everthing.

Lookeyhere I have always found that most people who don't like the Police have something to hide. I think alot of people in Covington county can't see the trees for the forest. I will break that down for you so you can understand it. You are so fixed on putting people down that you can't see the good they are doing. We all have a right to free speech but sometimes why don't you use it to promote good will instead of hate and discontent. The sheriff is doing a great job and I could care less if he flies over my house 12 times a day, and especially in a plane that did not cost me a dime. I hope you can get that if not let me know and I will write it on a 1st graders level for you.

Well I can see one more person is so up on the latest news, Sean the sheriff and his family had that house long before he was sheriff . and if you knew him you would understand many more things which is not worth getting into. I understand the jailer should have been doing his job, if in fact the paper is correct. But the bottom line is many people in covington county are waiting with baited breath to jump on the band wagon to run someone down. It's just a plus when it's law enforcement.

It is easy to see the ones yelling the loudest are the ones who screams the loudest when they need help. Just remember we are human and we all make mistakes. I really like the comment that guard made. Most of you are making your minds up without having the whole truth. I served with the Sheriff when he was on the street. He is a good officer and he is a good man, the fact is he can't fix everything in one term. It didn't get messed up in one term just remember that when you get ready to lay the blame. Or better yet go apply for a jailers job and see if you can do it better.

I am glad to see we have so many people in Covington County, that knows how to run a jail or be the sheriff. We should all feel so much safer, the fact is most of you people posting these comments have never done there job. The police and sheriff of covington county are very underpaid, and they have a very hard job. If they do there job and someone does not like it they file a complaint. If they don't do their job someone wants to complain, I think we have the best sheriff we have had in a long time. He tries to do his job and take care of the jail, complaints, making sure he can keep officers on the road and answer all the calls the people of Covington County has. I can say these things because I have been on the thin blue line, you can never make everybody happy. As far as the jail goes maybe instead complaining you should go to the commission and get a better budget for the sheriff to operate on and you may see some change. Stop being part of the problem and help fix the problem.
