Rev. Cleveland Coy Bowman

Rev. Cleveland Coy Bowman, 85, of Andalusia died Saturday June 29, 2002 at a Montgomery Hospital.

Rev. Bowman was a retired Baptist Minister and a WWII veteran. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July

2 at 2 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Miller and Rev. Alfred Ikner officiating. Burial followed at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors by Ft. Rucker with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Special music was provided by the Southsiders and Vandalyn Maddox, pianist.

Survivors include wife, Mildred J. Bowman, of Andalusia; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dave Southwick, of Birmingham; a son, Jonathan Bowman of Montgomery; two grandchildren, Patrick Turner of Huntsville and Michael Turner, of Mayport, Fla.; a great-grandson; three sisters, Audrey Giddens, Magdalene Killingsworth, both of Andalusia; Edna Wright, St. Louis, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Louise Bowman; two step-daughters, Harriet Phelps, and Peggy Morris, both of Andalusia; and three step-grandchildren, Sherry Paggett, Danny Elmore and Chris Morris.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline "Polly" Bowman.

The Adult Men's Sunday School Class were honorary pallbearers.

Mary Emma Butler

Mary Emma Butler, 79, of Andalusia died Saturday, June 29, 2002 in a Montgomery nursing home.

Funeral services will be held for 2 p.m. Monday, July 1 at Sanford Baptist with Rev. Ed Russell. Burial will follow in Sanford Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Special music was provided by Jan Kinsaul, soloist and Dorothy Powell, pianist.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Willie Barrow of Wetumpka, Ala., sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Shirlee Butler of Mobile and Donald and Mary Butler of Andalusia, six grandchildren nd one great-grandson and a sister, Sally Creamer of Dade City, Fla.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at Sanford Baptist. Flowers will be accepted or donations to the Sanford Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Johnathan Butler, Ryan Butler, Eric Butler, Kevin Butler, Stan Coker and Brent Watson.

Carolyn Folmar

Carolyn Folmar, 51, of Opp died Saturday, June 29, 2002 in the Opp hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday at Keahey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kinston City Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a special companion,

Stoney Pickron, of Opp; her mother, Linda Keirce Richardson, of Opp; two sons and daughters-in-law, George and Tracy Folmer, of Opp, Chris Folmer, Panama City, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Charles Cotton, of Andalusia; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Wayne Richardson, of Milton, Fla., Max and Nancy Richardson, of Opp; two sister, Gail and Joe Stewart, Navare, Fla., Barbara and Ray Reeves, Milton, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.

Lucile B. Lasiter

Lucile B. Lasiter, 82, of Andalusia died Monday in a Crestview nursing facility.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Salem Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services and from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include five children, Hilda Ray Lassiter of Andalusia, Marie Pate of Andalusia, Farrell Lasiter of Colorado, Harold Lasiter of Andalusia, Cynthia Bozeman of Pensacola; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Carl Blocker of Dozier, Jay Blocker, Laurel Hill, William Blocker, of Opp, Edward Blocker of Sanford, John Blocker of Colorado; and five sister, Ruth Spivey, Hazel Dubose, Frank Luchen and Nell anderson, all of Andalusia.

Catharine Bluhm

Catharine Bluhm, 61, of Andalusia, formerly of Philadelphia, Penn. died Friday, June, 28, 2002 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July

3, 2002 at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Patti Bluhm, Maryland; son, Gerald Bluhm, Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Joann and Bud Estis, of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jose Vargas, Philadelphia; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Kathleen Craig Jr., of

Maryland; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Bill Heiland, Minneapolis and 11 grandchildren.
