Marice Holley Norris

Marice Holley Norris, 81, of Florala, died Thursday, July 4, 2002 in an Opp hospital.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 7 at 2 p.m. at Red Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Northrop and Rev. Larry Wise officiating. Burial followed in Red Oak Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Special music was provided by Faye Sightler, soloist; Martha Helms, organist; and Wylene Kelley, pianist.

Survivors include her husband, Paskel "Pat" Norris; two step-daughters, Elaine (Paul) Mixon, of Florala; Kathy Horn, Weathford, Texas; nine step-grandchildren; nine step- great grandchildren; one brother, Harold Gene Holley, all of Howard Creek Fla.; one sister and brother-in-law, Ida Ruth and Harold Wise, of Kinston.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice or the charity of one's choice.

Pallbearers will include Foster Weed, Tobe Kelley, Keith Bulger, Mike Bess, Danny Cheshire, Warren Maddox, Gordon Helms, Gordon Bulger, Dudley Maddox, Don Bradley and Roger Sightler.

Jesse Clinton Jones

Jesse Clinton Jones, 93 of Andalusia, died Sunday, July 7, 2002 in Andalusia Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 9, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. J.T. Castleberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodhope Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth W. Jones of Madison; grandchildren, Sharon Gunter, Jennifer Gunter, Caleb Jones and Zackery Jones; sisters, Lula Bell of Dozier and Mary Williams of Prichard and brother, Henry Jones, of Eight Mile.

Pallbearers include Kenneth Jones, Jr., Danny Gunter, Donnie Bell, Max Bell, Henry Earl Jones and Dalton Jones.

Charles Medford Hart

Charles Medford Hart, 78, of Andalusia, died Sunday, July 7, 2002 at Andalusia Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at Pleasant Home Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include a wife, Gladys H. Hart, of Andalusia; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jean Scott, of Andalusia; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Dale South, Tuscaloosa, grandchildren, Olivia (Scott) Dallas, Valvosta, Ga., Scott (Becki) South, Tuscaloosa, Jeremy (Marrianne) Scott, Atlanta, Ga., Garrick Scott, Andalusia; great-grandchildren, Robby South, Anna South, Daniel Henderson, Arrica Dallas, Sydney Dallas.

She was preceded in death by dad, Charlie Hart, mother, Agnes Hart, sister Elma Colvin; brother, Jay Lynn.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Wilson, Jamie Kelley, Wayne Bass, Ashley McKathan, Michael Bush, Brian Kelley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Kelley, J.B. Brooks, Charles Walker.
