June Sasser Cook

June Sasser Cook, age 71, of Andalusia, died Sunday, June 14, 2002 in the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 17, at 11 a.m., at Good News Chapel in Rose Hill.

Survivors include a son, Charles Jonathan Cook, of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Twainnia Cook and Joe F. Baker, of Andalusia; a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Ray McBryde; grandchildren and grandchildren-in-law, Jamie and Samantha Meredith Roxann and Greg Watson, Tonya Meredith, Rodney and Ashley Meredith, Karrie Cook and Aric Cumbie, Chad and Jessica Cook; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Cook, her father and mother, Roy and Alice Driver Sasser and a brother, James C. Sasser.

Serving as pallbearers were Chad Cook, Jamie Meredith, Rodney Meredith, Greg Watson, Aric Cumbie and Shannon Driver.

Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Seymour, Bobby Sasser, Todd Sasser, and Wyatt Sasser.

Devon Hallford

Devon Hallford, infant son of Jeremy Flinn and Amanda Hallford died Monday, July 15, 2002 at Andalusia Hospital.

Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stone Lake Gardens.

Survivors include maternal grandfather, Randy Ainsworth and paternal grandmother, Margie Lawson both of Andalusia; step grandfather, Michael Lawson; step grandmother, Kimberly Ainsworth of Opp; paternal grandmother, Norma Jean Waldon, California; paternal step grandfather, Brent Waldon, California; paternal grandfather, Gary Flynn; maternal grandmother Alice Ainsworth, of Andalusia; maternal great grandparents, Ruby and Bo Griggs; maternal grandfather, Bobby Ainsworth, Opp and Janet Ainsworth, of Opp; paternal great grandmother, Pearl Thompson, Andalusia; two uncles, Randall Ainsworth, and Randall Hallford; one aunt, Summer Thompson; and numerous great aunts and uncles.

Charles L. "Pat" Patterson

Charles L. "Pat" Patterson, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, July 17, 2002 at his residence.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Foreman Funeral Home.

Judy Faye Hildreth Miller

Judy Faye Hildreth Miller, 58, of Dozier, died Tuesday, July 16, 2002 in Andalusia.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. in the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Dale Rodney Doughtie, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, Frank Ham, Red Level, Lavon Ham, New Brockton, Leon Ham, Andalusia; three sisters, Ann Farver, Enterprise, Mary Waller, Brewton, Saundra Ellis, Brewton.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday July 18, at Foreman Funeral Home.
