Randall Keith Walden

Randall Keith Walden, 37, of River Falls died Sunday, July 21, 2002 in Red Level.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at South Church of God with Rev. Glenn Vaughn. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery in Loango with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include wife, Tonya Walden of River Falls; son, Jason Randall Walden, of River Falls; two daughters Hunter Danielle Walden, of River Falls and Audra Dean, of Andalusia; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. (Karen) Walden of Red Level and Mr. and Mrs. James (Sara) Day, Red Level; paternal grandmother, Anna Walden Weaver of Red Level, in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Julius (Faye) Bass of Andalusia, John Donald Butts, Sr. of Andalusia, three sisters, Candace and Johnny Ward, of Andalusia, Nekia and David Everhart, Canton, Miss., Larecia and Shane Laney, of Andalusia. He was preceded in death by a sister Latecia Renee Walden.

Visitation will be after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church one hour prior to services.

Pallbearers will be Robert Coleman, Robert Mitchell, Tracey Turner, Chris Smith, Willie Leith, Mark Bullock, Shane Vaughn, Joey McVay.

Linda McLeod

Linda McLeod, 64, of Andalusia died Sunday, July 21, 2002 in a Wetumpka nursing facility.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Evans Funeral Home in Florala. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Evans Funeral Home on Tuesday.

Keahey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Jack W. (Michelle) McLeod of Palm Bay, Fla. and Richard D. McLeod of Pensacola, Fla.; daughters Lindy (Chip) Jones of Prattville and Julie (Doug) Marks of Millbrook; half brother, Wade Jernigan and four grandchildren.

Angela Joan Hunt

Angela Joan Hunt, 21, of Florala died Monday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday at Liberty Hill Assembly of God Church.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Keahey Funeral Home.

Pauline Kirkland Waters

Pauline Kirkland Waters, 91, of Panama City, Fla., died Saturday, July 20, 2002 in a Panama City, Fla. nursing home. She was retired from the Holiday Inn. She had been a resident of Bay County for 50 years moving there from Andalusia. She was a member of the Cherry Street Church of Christ in Panama City. She is survived by six grandchildren, Randall Stokes of Mary Ester, Fla, Betty Jean Stilwell of Santa Ana, Calif., Sylvia Mauldin of Oklahoma, Okla., Jerry W. Waters of Panama City, Fla., Tommy E. Waters of Dothan, Kevin Waters of Suisun City, Calif., 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, four sisters, Faye Brooks, Ossie Mae Heaton, both of Panama City, Fla., Kate Garrett, Ollie Carlton, both of Pensacola, Fla., and brother, Ezra Kirkland Jr. of Milton, Fla. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Skipper officiating. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Covington County.

Chester Yawn

Chester Yawn, 86, of Andalusia, formerly of Bainbridge, Ga, died Friday, July 19, 2002 in Andalusia Regional Hospital.

Yawn was born Feb. 16, 1916 in Decatur County, Ga. the son of Russell and Edna Yawn. He was a farmer, a fork lift operator for Elberta Crate and Box Company, and member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Mae Odom Yawn in 2001.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 21, 2002 at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Ga. with Ivey Funeral Home directing with Rev. James Williamson and Rev. Jimmy Hooks officiating.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Joanne Yawn of Bainbridge, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Sam Maughon of Andalusia; six grandchildren, Darrell Logue, Billy Maughon, Mark Maughon, Donnie Maughon, all of Andalusia, April Yawn Floyd and Dana Swicord, both of Bainbridge, Ga.; six great-grandchildren, Colby Swicord and Brandon Swicord, both of Bainbridge, Ga., Jimmy Maughon, Justin Maughon, Taylor Maughon, Dylon Maughon, all of Andalusia.

Pallbearers included John Swicord, Russell Floyd, Darrel Logue, Charlie Rouse, Herschel Odom and Lee Conley.

Local arrangements were held by Keahey Funeral Home.

Harold Eugene (Gene) Suggs

Harold Eugene (Gene) Suggs, 56, of New Brockton and formerly of Andalusia died Sunday, July 21, 2002 at the family residence after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24 from the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia with Rev. Stanley Carter officiating. Burial will follow in a cemetery near Andalusia with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing.

The Family will receive friends at Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.. The family will also receive friends at Keahey Funeral Home Wednesday from 1 until 2 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions could be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Linda Andress, Citizens Bank, P.O. Box 310900, Enterprise, AL 36331-0900.

Mr. Suggs was born January 10, 1946 in Andalusia to the late William (Buck) and Katie Mae Medley Suggs. He had lived near Enterprise for the past 32 years. He was formerly employed with the Enterprise School System. His greatest of love and enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren and fishing in the Bay.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Suggs of New Brockton, daughter, Missy (Billy) Webb, of Chancellor, son, Shannon Eugene (Monica) Suggs, Don Secour; brother, Bobby Suggs of Huntsville; two grandchildren, Jayden Webb and Connor Eugene Suggs and several nieces and nephews.

Jeff Jackson

Jeff Jackson, 39, of Andalusia, died Saturday, July 20, 2002 in a Birmingham hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Buck Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include wife, Lawanna Jackson of Andalusia; father, Bobby Aughtman of Mobile; mother, Carolyn Jackson of Andalusia; son, Zeke Wesson of Andalusia; daughter, Lynn Jackson of Andalusia, Crystal Wesson of Andalusia; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Charlotte Jackson of Andalusia; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Richard Ivey of Troy; sister, DeWanna Henderson of Andalusia; granddaughter, Ashley Jackson; nephews, Landon Jackson and John Ivey; nieces, Krystal Henderson, Kim Ballard and Amanda Harris.
