Entries are now being accepted for the sixth annual Buckmasters American Deer Foundation (BADF) golf tournament at the Robert Trent Jones Capitol Hill course in Prattville on, Thursday, Aug. 15.

Prizes in the four-man scramble will be awarded for morning and afternoon rounds for first, second and third place gross, longest drive and closest to the pin. The $125 per person or $500 per team registration includes lunch, range balls, greens fees, a golf cart with GPS and a goodie bag.

The tournament is being held in conjunction with the Buckmasters Expo which begins the next day, Aug. 16, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 18.

The BADF is the non-profit arm of the world's largest deer hunting association, the Montgomery-based Buckmasters, which has approximately 360,000 members nationwide.

Funds raised will benefit projects of the BADF, including the Disabled Hunter Services division; Project Venison, which provides funds to process hunters' excess venison for area food banks; and the Hunters of Tomorrow program, which helps introduce children to activities in the great outdoors.
