Season tickets for sale at Pleasant Home

Eagle fans can beat the crowd on Friday nights thanks to a new offer from the Pleasant Home School athletic program and the booster club.

Pleasant Home School Principal Jim Garner announced Friday that 38 season tickets are available for the 2002 football season.

The seats are located on the 50-yard line in front of the press box. The seats will have backs and more leg room with seats placed on every other row, skipping a row to provide additional leg room.

The cost of a season ticket is $50 and includes the cost of admission to all five home games for the varsity football team as well as the four home games for the junior varsity squad.

The home schedule for the varsity Eagles include a Sept. 6 game against region foe Zion Chapel, the Sept. 27 game against the cross-county rival Red Level Tigers, the Oct. 4 cross-county Class 1A rivalry game against the Florala Wildcats which is also a region game for the Eagles, the Oct. 11 region game against Houston County and the regular-season final game against Kinston. The Kinston game is also a region game for the Eagles.

All of the home varsity games are slated to begin at 7 p.m. this season.

The JV schedule includes four home games, including the season-opener against New Brockton on Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m. The JV Eagles also have home games on Sept. 16 against McKenzie, Sept. 30 against Red Level and Oct. 15 against Straughn.

Proceeds from season ticket sales will go to the athletic program and the booster club, Garner said.
