Two teens charged in car theft

According to Alice Donaldson of the Andalusia Police Department, two Andalusia residents were arrested for an incident of theft which occurred early August 17.

Donaldson said the department received a call from a local business early that morning regarding the breaking and entering and theft of a car at the business.

Two males, James T. Gunn, 18, and Randall R. McKenzie, 19,

both of Andalusia, were

arrested in connection with the vehicle break-in and theft.

The two were charged with breaking and entering of a vehicle, theft in the second degree and burglary of tools.

Both were transported to the Covington County Jail, with their bonds totaling $30,000.

Donaldson added that all items from case have been recovered.
