The Super C Store in Opp was the site of an apparent robbery Sunday night according to

a release from Detective Walter Inabinett of the Covington County Sheriff's Department.

On Sunday, the Sheriff's Department received information about an alleged robbery at the store on Highway 84 west of Opp.

According to investigation reports,

a white male entered the store at approximately 8:43 p.m. wearing a white mask and a camouflage jacket.

The alleged subject obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

According to another source, the subject may have indicated to an attendant at the store that he had a gun, but the attendant apparently never actually saw a weapon.

A suspect has been developed and the case currently remains under investigation by the Covington County Sheriff's Department.
