Wayne V. McLelland

Wayne V. McLelland, 62, of Andalusia died Tuesday, October 15, 2002, in Crestview, Fla.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 18 at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Mohon officiating. Special music was provided by soloists Sue Rawls accompanied by pianist Carolyn Smith. Burial followed

in the Pleasant Home Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Oraette B. and James E. Lunsford of Andalusia; a daughter, Cynthia Hollingshead of Glen Allen, Va.; three sons, Dee McLelland of Ft. Meyers, Fla., Lynn McLelland of Panama City, Fla., and Lex McLelland of Atlanta; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda M. and Frank M. Hare and

Carolyn M. and Travis L. Martin, all of Andalusia; a brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Peggy McLelland of Columbus, Ga.; and 12 grandchildren.

Mr. McLelland was preceded in death by his father, William Verlon McLelland.

Pallbearers included Ty M. Hare, Jay S. Hare, Jeffery Martin, Chris Martin, Todd Martin and Rob Martin.

Mary Louise McIntyre

Mary Louise McIntyre, 67, of Greenville died Thursday, October 17, 2002 at a Montgomery hospital.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 21, 2002 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gary Hollaway officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing. She is survived by two daughters, T. Lafonda Cook (David) of Red Level and Karen L. Swaim of Greenville; two sons, Frank E. McAbee of Etna, Wy. (Barbara Jo) and John H. McAbee of Evergreen; step-mother Pearl Tolbert of Evergreen; two sisters, Peggy White of Montgomery and Sybil Parrish of Brewton; 13 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. Donations may be made to the Pegeon Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2002, at Johnson Funeral Home.

Michael George Thomas

Michael George Thomas, 47, of Mandeville La., died Sunday, October 13, 2002 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Michael was born in Freeport, Texas on January 14, 1955. His brother, Leonard Ray Thomas; parents Ray and Hilda Thomas and sister, Betty Sue Gullberg preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lori M. Thomas; son, Bryeeton G. Thomas; nieces, Alena Phillips, Sherilyn Steele; nephew, Billy Fed Shanks; aunt, Bonice Stokes, uncle; Hoyt Jones; father and mother-in-law; Lary and Delores Mosing. He also had many cousins and a host of cherished friends.

Michael managed the New Orleans territory of Lifetouch National School Studies. He was a lover of life and an inspiration to all who knew him.

A service in celebration of his life will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2002, at First Baptist Church of Mandeville, La.
