Missing woman#039;s car found

An automobile fitting the description of a 37-year-old Opp woman believed to be missing was discovered early Friday morning.

The car was discovered around 2:15 a.m. in the vicinity of Williams Road and Cannon Drive.

The vehicle had been described as a 1995 4-door Pontiac Bonneville, gold in color and bearing the license number 23B140B. The vehicle was also described as having damage to the passenger side door and left front quarter panel.

The car was immediately impounded and the Alabama Bureau of Investigations (ABI) has been requested to assist the Opp Police Department and other authorities with the case.

The search, however, continues into the apparent disappearance of Susie Lucille Phillips.

Phillips was last seen in Opp on Friday, Feb. 21 at around 10:15 p.m.

She is described as being 5-foot-6 and weighing 133 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes.
