Mother Nature halted a possible comeback by the Andalusia High School girls' tennis team Thursday with rain.

The Lady Bulldogs fell behind Enterprise in the tennis match by a count of 4-2.

Enterprise won four of the six singles matches for four points.

Andalusia had two points thanks to wins by Keri Till and Meaghan Weant in singles action.

The Lady Bulldogs needed a clean sweep in the doubles matches to win the match.

A light rain began to fall and halted any chance of a comeback by causing the match to be cancelled.

The Andalusia boys' tennis team was playing Enterprise High School in Enterprise on Thursday and results were not available at presstime.

The next tennis match is set for Monday at Opp High School.
