Agnes Guy

Agnes Guy, 83, of Andalusia, died Saturday, July 19, 2003 in an Opp hospital.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at Wyatt Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Hall officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Gilead Cemetery with Wyatt Funeral Home directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.J. Guy.

Survivors include daughters, Laverness and Randall Brand of Valley and Agatha and Dennis Dauphin of Dozier; sisters, Earnestine Ellenburg and Ann Briggs, both of Dothan and Oletta Williams of Opp; four grandchildren, Ladetra Leroy of Valley, Gina Brand of Auburn, Eric Dauphin and Erin Dauphin, both of Dozier; two great-grand children, Brandon Le Roy and Alisha Le Roy.

Pallbears included David Barton, John Bryan, David Chance, Jeff Deal, Jeff Jackson, and Wyatt Sasser.

Houston &uot;Babe&uot; McCollough

Houston &uot;Babe&uot; McCollough, 90, of Elba died Saturday, July 26, 2003 in Elba General Hosptial.

Funeral services were held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 28, 2003 at 11 a.m. Burial followed in the Whitewater Baptist Church Cemetery with Hayes Fuenral Home of Elba directing.

He was preceded in death by

two daughters, Norma Jean Stricklin and Rosa Ann McCollough. Contributions may be made to the Whitewater Baptist Church General Fund.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Evelyn (Kemp) McCollough of Elba; daughter Carolyn Smart of Elba; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Jane McCollugh of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Iris McDowell of Elba; two granddaughters, Lindy Collier and Melissa Strickland, both of Elba; and one great-granddaughter, Stephanie Collier also of Elba.
