A trip to Troy on Saturday proved to be a tough outing for the Andalusia High School basketball teams.

The Lady Bulldogs were the only Andalusia squad to record a win outlasting the Charles Henderson High School Lady Trojans by a final score of 50-42.

Andalusia went on top 17-8 in the first quarter of the game.

The Lady Bulldogs outscored the Lady Trojans 11-10 in the second quarter for a 28-18 lead going into the halftime intermission.

The Lady Trojans mounted a rally in the third quarter outscoring the Lady Bulldogs 12-10.

The Lady Bulldogs, however, remained on top by a score of 38-30.

Both teams scored 12 points in the final quarter as the Lady Bulldogs held on for a 50-42 win.
