The Men's League ended, but the tournament is set to begin Monday night. This will go through Feb. 28. For the first round, the pairings are: CIA against Mussell Creek at 6:30. The winner of this game will advance to face the No. 1 seeded Playaz, who finished the season unbeaten. The 6:30 game will be followed by Benefit Planners facing Terrell Enterprises at 7:30 and then the night cap will be the Fire taking on the team from New Life Church at 8:30 p.m.

After debate about whether or not New Life would have a squad, they showed up and defeated the red clad Terrell Enterprises team, 63-51.

Herbert Bowens proved to be the difference for the blue team of New Life

and finished the game with 24 points. Anthony Wood tacked on eight points, Rodney Johnson added five and Joseph Longmire tacked on seven. Tony Hatton added two points in the win. For Terrell Enterprises, Holsie Griffin had 10 points followed by Bubba Bass with four, Jimmy Phelfs had eight points.

Benefit Planners 75 – Mussell Creek 48 David Hancock led the charge as Ronnie Paulk's Benefit Planners shot lights out against Mussell Creek. Hancock finished the night with 26 points followed by Jai Hill with 17. Timmy Gilbert and Paulk both finished the night with 11 points. Tony Peagler tacked on six points and Scott Yancey finished with four. For the men from Mussell Creek, Chad Daniel finished with 11 points, followed by Pat Autrey and David Scott both posting 10 points. David Wesley and Warren Mathews combined for five points and Walton Hickman finished the night with seven.

Playaz 67 – CIA 61 Coming into the game the Playaz had a pefect 5-0 record but, before the final horn sounded, their perfection was tested by the CIA. Desmond Walker led the Playaz with 18 points, followed by Bobby Bedgood's 14 points and Shawn Powell's 11 points. Donnie Kemp added eight points and Tracy McKee and Clen Hicks combined for eight points.

Preston Walker

was on fire for the CIA, posting 40 points to lead the team. Willie Walker had 13 points, John Scott finished with three and Steve Lowery finished the night with two points in the league's final game.
