Stallworth builds points lead in Hogg division By Kevin Taylor

Carey Stallworth built a larger cushion as points leader in the Hogg front-wheel drive division by finishing third in the feature race during Saturday night's races at the Butler County Motorsports Park.

Stallworth added 24 points to his total and now leads over Johnny Beck by 21 points. Beck went on to win the feature race, whole Kevin Bradley came in second. Stallworth almost ended up with as many points as Beck Saturday after winning the heat race.

Bo Jordan also padded his points lead with a feature and heat race victories in the Pure Stock Hogg rear-wheel drive division.

Robert Johnson finished second, while Ben Callen took third. Callen remains a distant second in the points race behind Jordan.

Steven McDonald won the feature race in the Street Stock division by holding off Brian Scurlock and points leader Will Henderson. Dewey Boggan and David Ward won the heat races.

Arthur Sawyer won the heat and then won the feature race in the Super Hobbie division. Charles Davis finished second, while Todd Adams took third.

Jim Till added to his points lead by winning the heat race and then the feature in the Late Model division. Till leads Jack Daughtery by 23 points, while William Smith is a distant third in the standings with 61 points.

Daughtery finished second in the feature race, while Scott Myers was third.

The Butler County Motorsports Park also named Robert Hutson III from the Pure Stock division as the driver of the week.

Racing will return to the Butler County Motorsports Park Saturday with gates opening at 4 p.m. Racing begins at 7 p.m.
