Scott, Mambazo to hold fall wedding

Robert Thigpen and Maggie E. Scott, both of Greenville, announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Seneta Elizabeth Scott of Greenville, to Stephan Idris Mambazo of Selma.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Ezekiel and Gussie Mae Scott of Greenville. Miss Scott is a graduate of Greenville High School and Southeastern Academy in Kissimmee, Fla.

She is currently licensed by the State of Alabama Insurance Dept. and is employed with State Farm Insurance, Jimmy Gardner Agency.

The prospective groom is a 1995 and 1996 graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia with both a bachelor's and master's degree in social work.

Mr. Mambazo is currently employed as a social worker and community educator for Selma AIR. He also serves as an elder with the Gospel Tabernacle, COGIC.

The couple will exchange vows later this fall at their church, Gospel Tabernacle, COGIC in Selma. The ceremony will be officiated by the pastor, Superintendent John E. Grayson.

The couple is registered at Wal-Mart.
