The Dixie Youth Braves baseball team of the Greenville Parks and Recreation Department remain unbeaten in the young season after topping the A's 3-1 on Tuesday.

Jackson Mimms led the Braves with two hits, including a lead-off solo home run in the second inning.

Brian Smith scored the A's lone run in the fourth inning and finished with a hit.

Raymond Moody led the A's at the plate with two hits, while Levi Ray and Wesley Scott chipped in a hit each.

Red Sox 8, White Sox 2

The Red Sox scattered nine hits in the win over the White Sox.

Dalton Burns led the Red Sox with three hits and scored two runs. Stephen Till and Andy Burns also had two hits each.

The White Sox scored a run in the fourth inning after Damarcus Wilson reached on a walk, and then Connally Walters scored the second run in the fifth after reaching on a double.

Wesley Hendrix had the only other hit for the White Sox.

Red Sox 18, Braves 4

The Red Sox scored nine runs in the third inning to jump out to a 13-0 lead before cruising to the easy win over the Braves.

Ryan Burkett led the Red Sox with three hits, including two doubles and a triple.

Chris Cobb added two hits, including a double.

Joseph Peavy, James Burkett, Jessie Kelly and Joseph Reaves chipped in a hit each.

Twins 3, Orioles 1

The Twins scored two runs in the third inning to remain unbeaten and hand the Orioles their first loss of the season.

Mike Smith and Harper Vinson picked up a hit each for the Twins, but it was two errors in the third that cost the Orioles.

Cade Tillery and Austin Harris had a hit each for the Orioles. Terail Snipes scored the only run for the Orioles.

Astros 13, Yankees 7

The Astros improved to 3-0 on the year by scoring eight runs in the fourth to close out the victory over the Yankees.

Josh Sawyer led the Astros with two hits, while Donte Lee, Dillon Brown and Sam McCann added a hit each.

Daniel Hall Autrey had the only hit for the Yankees with a double.
