The sidewalks of Greenville High will be bloomin' with color in May. The high school's art department is hosting its Second Annual Art Festival, slated for

Monday, May 1 through Thursday, May 4.

&#8220We will be holding our sidewalk chalk art all day on Thursday, and we would love to have other artists from our area come and join us,” Stacey Edwards, GHS art instructor, said.

The festival will also feature an art show that proves good things often come in small packages.

&#8220We are going to feature art that is no larger than a dollar bill.

The artwork will be displayed and judged during the week,” Edwards said.

The art instructor said she would like to see other schools and older artists join them for the festival.

&#8220We truly want this to be a celebration of art for the whole community to enjoy and be involved in. We have a lot of talented people in the Greenville area and in Butler County as a whole, and we would love to show those talents off during our festival in May.”
