Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Scott Ross Jr. of Deatsville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their granddaughter, Emily Lynn Malion, to Casey Erin Grant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Edward Grant of Fort Deposit.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of

Mary Rebecca Ross and the late Alvin Ross Sr. of Deatsville and

Minnie Williams and the late Cecil Emfinger of Deatsville. She plans to attend college at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College in the fall.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mabel McLain of Fort Deposit and the late Tommy E. Grant , and Flora H. Hardin of Fort Deposit and the late Elbert D. Hardin

He is the owner and operator of County Line Farms in Fort Deposit.

The wedding is scheduled for 4 p.m. May 27, 2006 at The Oaks Plantation in Montgomery with a reception to follow at the Oaks.
