Lelia and Isaac Pettway of Georgiana would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Latisha Pettway, to Bryan Marbuary, son of Sandra F. Marbuary of Gadsden.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nero Pettway Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Claude Z. Florence and Louise Hamilton of Altamonte Springs, Fla.

A 1995 graduate of Georgiana High School and a graduate of the University of Montevallo, she is currently employed by the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

The groom-elect served in the U.S. Navy and is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He is currently a student at Jefferson State Community College.

The ceremony is slated for August 12, 2006 at the Fairfield Civic Center in Birmingham.
