Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anthony &#8220Tony” Pynes of Brantley would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jerri Leigh Bryan, to Jason Blake Grant, son of Rickey and Marcia Grant of Opp.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Jimmy Jones Bryan of Brantley.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Robert Waylon &#8220Moon” Bryan and Mrs. Delatha Bryan of Brantley and George Malcom &#8220Bud” Bryan, Sr. and the late Mrs. Talatha Bryan of Brantley and Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Pynes, also of Brantley.

She is a 2004 graduate of Brantley High School and is enrolled at the University of Alabama where she is pursuing a major in Human Development with a concentration in Family Studies and a minor in the Blount Undergraduate Initiative.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. I.D. Bowers and Mrs. Bonnie Inez Rodgers of Opp and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gervis Edward Grant, also of Opp.

He is a 2001 graduate of Opp High School and is currently employed as a store manager by Express Oil Change, Inc. of Tuscaloosa.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Mount Olive Baptist Church of Elba at 3 p.m. with a reception immediately following. No local invitations are being sent, but all friends and relatives are invited to attend.
