Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Welch, Jr., of Luverne, Ala., are proud to announce the forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Leah Wilks, to Dale Grimes, son of Mr. Tim Grimes of Rose Hill, Ala., and Mrs. Lynne Brackins of Sanford, Ala.

The bride-to-be received her associate's degree at LBW Community College in 2004.

She is currently attending Troy University and majoring in Elementary Education. The groom-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Red Level High School in Red Level , Ala.

He is currently employed with Oceaneering International as an R. V. O. Technician.

The wedding will take place at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Rutledge, Ala., on September 16, 2006, at 2 p.m. All family and friends are invited to attend.
