Compton, Holley to wed October 7

Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Compton of Brantley are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Lynn Compton, to Jeffrey Nathan Holley of Montgomery. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Prince of Montgomery and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Holley of Dothan.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Augusta Cook and Mr. and Mrs. George Compton, all of Brantley.

Miss Compton is a graduate of Brantley High School and a magna cum laude graduate of Faulkner University where she was a member of Alpha Chi Honor Society.

She is a gymnastics instructor for The Flip Factory of Montgomery.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Speights of Montgomery and the late Mr. and Mrs. Max Harrell, and Mr. Ray Holley of Valley and the late Mrs. June Holley.

Mr. Holley is a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and attended Troy University and Patterson State Technical College.

He is a manager of Performance Trucks of Prattville.

The couple will be wed at four o'clock in the afternoon on October 7, 2006, at the Waters on Marler Road in Pike Road, Alabama.
