Mrs. John Richard Utley of Greenville, announces the engagement of her daughter Leah Margaret to John William Coles, IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. John William Coles, III, of Birmingham.

Miss Utley, also the daughter of the late John Richard Utley, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Eugene Hardin Jr., of Greenville; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Eldred Utley of Coker.

A 1999 graduate of Greenville High School, the bride-to-be received a B.A. degree in communication from the University of Alabama where she was a member of Kappa Delta social sorority.

She is marketing director at Fairwinds/Total Sports Travel in Montgomery.

Mr. Coles is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Louis Marafino of Oreland, Penn.; Mrs. John William Coles, Jr., of Prattville, and the late Mr. Coles.

He received a B. S. degree in finance from the University of Alabama where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi social fraternity.

He is vice president of finance for Autrey Capital Group in Montgomery.

The couple will be married on December 16, 2006, at Woodland Heights Methodist Church in Greenville.
