G.P. All-Stars take the win, and one

The Greenville Parks and Rec. men's baksetball league continued play with Week 3 this week.

Here are this week's results:

G.P. All-Stars 102, And 1 82

Dewayne Thigpen exploded for 12 points in the third period Monday to lead the G.P. All-Stars over team And 1, 102-82.

Thigpen finished as the game's leading scorer with 28 points while teammate Jerod Warren had 27 points, including four three-pointers in the final period.

Desmond Walker had 19 points for the G.P. All-Stars while Preston Walker had 17, including three three-pointers in the final period.

For team And 1, three players scored more than 20 points as Charlie Lowery had a team-high 21 and Holsie Griffin and Rodney Davidson each had 20.

Curtis Fields also had 12 in the loss.

Computer Shack 66, West Point 63

Rashad Knight and DeMario Roper combined for 7-of-9 from the free-throw line in the final period to lead team Computer Shack over West Point, 66-63.

Knight finished with a team-high 24 points, including a perfect 8-of-8 from the free-throw line, while Roper had 10 points.

LaDarrence Perdue also had 13 points in the win.

For West Point, Kentell Smith had a team-high 21 points while Henry Thomas had 14. Marcus Howard also had nine points and David Oliver had eight in the loss.

FYE 75, A-Town Playas 66

Four players scored in double-digits for team FYE Monday night as they cruised to victory over the A-Town Playas, 75-66.

Joe Watson had 15 points, Doug Martin Jr. had 14 and Donnie Kemp and Lenard Scott each had 12 to lead team FYE.

Kelvin Mitchell Jr. also had nine points in the win.

For the A-Town Playas, Ken Townsend was the team-leading scorer with 17 points while Charles Smith had 10.

Andra Young also had nine points and Marcus Gill eight in the loss.

Southern Outlaws 69, Extreme Audio 63

The Southern Outlaws combined to hit 15-of-20 free throws in the final period Monday night to secure the win over team Extreme Audio, 69-63.

Marcus Miles, the Outlaws' leading scorer with 19 points, was 9-of-10 from the free-throw line in the final period.

Kim McMeans also had 15 points for the Outlaws while David Webb had 13 and DeAndre Brown had 10.

For team Extreme Audio, Kevin Harris was the team's leading scorer with 22 points, although he was held scoreless in the final period.

Barry Owens also had 16 points and Cory Thigpen had eight in the loss.

B.J. Auto Sales 92, Hwashin 46

Marcus Love scored a game-high 30 points to lead the B.J Auto Sales team to victory over team Hwashin, 92-46.

Love hit 10 three-pointers to account for all his points.

Stanley Lamar had 23 points in the win while Kahari Hardy also had 12.

For team Hwashin, Carl Mitchell was the team's leading scorer with 16 points while Michael Frost had 11. Michael Ball also had 10 points in the loss.
